It's 2:30 in the afternoon and the only accomplishments I can list for today are 1)Watching "Tangled" curled up on the couch with my boys 2) Taking a shower. Yep, it has been a rough morning after attending THE wedding of the year last night.

I know, you're all wondering how our little ring barer did. I won't hold you in suspense. See for yourself:

Can you believe how perfect he was?! I was shocked. I told him to walk slowly to the front of the church and off he went. He did soooo good! And how cute is the outfit that the bride chose for him? Loved it. The other little guy you see speed by is the other ring barer that didn't want to do it, but at the last 2nd decided he didn't want to be left out.

From the wedding we headed back to the farm with all of the bridesmaids' bags and got to have Carter in a few photos with the bride. I can't wait to see them. The view at Harmony Jack is incredible. There really aren't words to describe it. So, I think the photos will be priceless with Carter and Cierra just for who is in them, but the view is going to make them AMAZING!

Ok. On to the reception.

I'm at a lost for words here as well. So many people pitched in hours of their time to turn a barn (yes, a real barn that they really use) into a gorgeous wedding venue. It took months, but the wow factor of this reception was off the chart. The bride paid attention to EVERY LITTLE DETAIL. Just look at the name cards that she embroidered herself.

This isn't the greatest picture, but they actually attached real branches to the beams of the barn and then strung white lights all over them. It was so pretty in the evening.

The thank you wall was such a great idea and they kept with the vintage them when they did it. They framed photos of people who helped with the wedding with a little note of what they did. The buffet is an old family piece that was brought in and used as a desert bar. OMG! The deserts were amazing! They did have a cake as well, but I was so into the deserts (sorry Weight Watchers) that I didn't have a piece. The deserts were all made by family members making it that much more special.

Parting gifts were homemade jam. The bride asked me to use my Silhouette machine to write on the boxes (made by Grandpa Roger) "Please Take One. Spread the love." So cute!

And this? How cool is this? Just an old truck they have on the farm! Great for photo opportunities!

So, it was a blast. We were extra lucky and got to stay in a house on the property because of Carter. This allowed us to have a sitter come and stay with him when it was time for bed and he was only down the driveway if she needed us. We stayed until the bitter end, and I mean bitter end - when the DJ wouldn't play any more music and the ladies resorted to singing themselves :) Definitely the best part of having your wedding on your own property in the middle of nowhere, no one kicks you out and no one cares about the noise!

This morning at 6 am when Carter decided he was ready to get up, we just weren't. One of us was a little worse off than the other and her feet hurt so badly as she walked in her sweat pants and high heels to the car. :)

Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Baker. Thank you for including us in all the festivities and to Jeannette and Andy for putting on such an amazing party and for all the accommodations to help with Carter so that we could have such a great time!

Absolutely wonderful! Mr C did a fine job. An unforgetable day/evening for everyone. Too bad there's no pic of you walking in high heels and sweats to get Mr C. I'm letting my imagination run wild on that scene. :o} - yep LOL
