I cannot believe that this speech took place less than 50 years ago. It took place during my parents' lifetime.As I sit here in my living room watching my sons, one black, one white, play together, I am moved by the celebration of today more than ever before.

Yep, we've come along way but aren't totally there yet. We are all God's children. Those were such sad times.
Yes, we just watched a show last week about the Freedom Rides in the early 60's in the south...such ignorance!!!!!!!!!!!!! And to think this happened in MY lifetime...
Our children are our future. little by little we are getting it right.
